About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a new clinician looking for a chance to extend their clinical skills, work within the well known Warehouse One7 clinic, enhancing their capacity for case conceptualization, and response to a variety of presentations within a well-supported, friendly, and respected workplace in the sector.
All necessary supervision in included in the position and is based on site with our Clinical Lead.


Qualifications and Experience
Essential Criteria to address in your covering letter
  1. Relevant clinical qualifications and registration requirements with AHPRA, with appropriate postgraduate training and experience in mental health service provision.
  2. Demonstrated ability to respond to a range of clinical presentations using evidence-based approaches
  3. Excellent prioritization, time and project management ability with a demonstrated capacity to ensure key accountabilities are met within a dynamic environment.
  4. Experience working within and a demonstrated understanding of contemporary practice and current policy issues within the child and family support services sector and mental health service system.
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to aid capacity building in challenging service operating environments.
  6. Demonstrated capacity to implement principles of reflective practice and self-care within a team.
  7. Experience using software programs and practice management software, particularly Microsoft Office.
  8. Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and current Working With Children Clearance.

About the role
Warehouse One7, which is part of the Family Services Illawarra Ltd family is a reputable youth mental health service based in Wollongong.
We are currently seeking a full-time Psychologist to support unmet community needs, in a thriving multi-disciplined team environment. Our Warehouse One7 Mental Health Support and Wellbeing (MHS&W) team develop children, young people and families with high-quality therapeutic occasions of service, building capacity and improving lives.

Essential Criteria
  1. Relevant clinical qualifications as a registered Psychologist with appropriate post registration experience in mental health service provision.
  2. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively plan and coordinate individualized psychological interventions for children and their families.
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide high quality assessment and evidence-based psychological interventions for children and their families.
  4. Experience working within and a demonstrated understanding of contemporary practice and current policy issues within the child and family support services sector and mental health service system.
  5. Excellent prioritization, time and project management ability with a demonstrated capacity to ensure key concerns are met within a dynamic environment.
  6. Ability to promote a multi-disciplined Trauma Informed Practice environment with high standards of care, quality assurance and risk management.
  7. Demonstrated capacity to implement principles of reflective practice and self-care within a team.
  8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to aid capacity building in challenging service operating environments.
