Important Announcement

To all our esteemed client families,

Warehouse One7 has striven to offer affordable and accessible psychological support services to families across the Illawarra since its inception in 2012. We have assisted thousands of families in this time by balancing a model of financial equity with sustainability of services. Due to the ever-changing prices of resources and staffing as our service grows, Warehouse One7 has had to implement a change to its fee structure, effective 1st January 2019.

Please see our updated fee schedule, on the Fees section of our website to advise further on this change. We have tried to reduce the burden of a fee increase, by making this change minimal. Fee increases will apply for those paying full-fees and receiving Medicare rebates, or seeing a Provisional Psychologist. For those funding under NDIS, fee changes have been made to more accurately reflect the designated ‘counselling’ line item in the NDIS Price guide, available here: https://www.ndis.gov.au/medias/documents/price-guide-nsw-201819-pdf/201819-Price-Guide-VIC-NSW-QLD-TAS.pdf.

If you are currently receiving Bulk Billed services (i.e., you have presented a valid government concession card), these changes will not impact you.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused, and encourage you to contact our Clinical Lead, Mathew Aquilina, should you wish to discuss any concerns about accessing our services.

In exciting news, we would also like to announce that commencing early 2019, Warehouse One7 will be expanding services to offer fee-based cognitive and learning assessments for existing clients and external referrals. We hope that by offering this service we can assist relieving some of the demand and wait times that are on school counsellors and other current providers. Please note that initially we will only be to offer assessment focused on determining cognitive and learning capacity, and that these assessments may not be sufficient to access funding for NDIS or similar. Our hope is that should this service be successful we will be able to expand our assessment suite. We will have further information on our website soon.

We look forward to continuing to support your family. Wishing you all the best over the upcoming holiday season.
